PM Modi has distributed 51,000 appointment letters as part of the Rozgar Mela

Prime Minister Narendra Modi used video conferencing on Monday to present over 51,000 appointment letters to newly admitted recruits in government ministries and organizations as part of the Rozgar Mela.

The Central Government and various states/UTs have been organizing Rozgar Melas around the country and delivering appointment letters to lakhs of youth every month as part of Mission Recruitment.

The ministry of home affairs is recruiting personnel for several central armed police forces (CAPFs) including as the CRPF, BSF, Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), as well as Delhi police, according to an official release.

The new appointees will be able to serve their country by joining various CAPFs. Selected from around the country, the new recruits will work in various organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs in roles such as Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (GD), and Non-GD Cadre Posts.

  • PM Modi described the new recruits as “Amrit Rakshaks,” saying, “Youth aspires to serve the nation.” I’d want to congratulate everyone who received appointment letters today. In this Amrit Kaal, I refer to them as ‘Amrit Rakshaks’ of the people of India.”

  • “The tourism sector is likely to contribute over Rs 20 lakh crore to the Indian economy by 2030, creating 13-14 crore new job opportunities for youths,” he added in his virtual address.
  • PM Modi pushed for the purchase of ‘Made-in-India’ products, saying, “Walking on the paths of vocal for local mantra, the government is focusing on the purchase of Made-in-India laptops and computers.” This has increased production while also creating new job opportunities.”
